On November 28th, 2018, we lost our beloved son, friend, companion and champion to complications from Muscular Dystrophy. He fought like no other. His drive and thirst for life, as well as wanting to help and be a part of people’s joy is what we believe kept him in the fight for as long as he was. In the same accord, it is also our belief that Tyler “Never Quit”, his body did.
Tyler was bigger than this world, bigger than his physical body, and touched the lives of everyone around him. His patience, talents, wisdom, and compassion are what set him apart from others. Time after time, Tyler was met with adversity and found a way to endure and make his mark. This continues even after he is gone.
In concert with what we thought would be his wishes, his body was willed to UT Southwestern Medical Center for research into his unique anatomy which was devastated by this dreadful disease. It is our hope that Tyler’s legacy will also include precious medical information to help others.
